The mirror aluminum sheet, alternatively referred to as a mirror-finish aluminum sheet, is an aluminum sheet subjected to specialized treatment to attain an extraordinarily reflective and mirror-like surface. Typically crafted from aluminum material, it undergoes a series of processes aimed at achieving a remarkably smooth and reflective surface. This treatment imparts to the aluminum sheet the capability to reflect light in a manner akin to conventional glass mirrors, resulting in the production of crisp and well-defined reflections.
The frequently utilized aluminum materials for mirror aluminum sheets primarily belong to the 1000 and 5000 series of aluminum alloys. The 1000 series, in particular, is classified as pure aluminum, with common grades being 1050, 1060, and 1070. This series boasts the highest aluminum content among all aluminum alloy series, with purity levels exceeding 99.00%. Due to its absence of additional alloying elements, the manufacturing process is relatively straightforward, resulting in a comparatively economical price. Consequently, it is the most prevalent series employed in conventional industries.
The notable grades within the 5000 series of aluminum sheets are 5005 and 5052, making them part of the frequently employed alloy aluminum sheet series. These alloys are primarily composed of magnesium, with magnesium content ranging from 3% to 5%. They are commonly referred to as aluminum-magnesium alloys. The key characteristics of these alloys include low density, high tensile strength, and notable elongation properties. When compared to other series of aluminum sheets of the same area, aluminum-magnesium alloys exhibit lower weight. Additionally, the 5000 series aluminum sheet is highly effective in achieving a mirror-like surface.

The initial stage in the surface treatment of aluminum sheets involves spraying. Designers will select different spraying and drying methods based on the mirror-like characteristics required for the aluminum sheets. Only aluminum sheets with a consistent and uniform spray surface are eligible for producing the final mirror aluminum sheets.
anti-oxidation polishing treatment
In practical usage, some users may encounter issues with diminished mirror performance in mirror aluminum sheets. This is often attributed to irregular surface treatments on the sheets. Additionally, cleaning the mirror surface of these sheets can be extremely challenging. To cater to varying usage environments, the surface of mirror aluminum sheets also requires special anti-oxidation polishing treatments.
